Brittys tips to being a Detective in TTT

So, you are a detective! Good for you! We all love you, except the traitors among us who are scared of you.

Your aim is to identify the traitors and assist in keeping the innocents alive, best of luck partner - your gonna need it.

Brittys tips are as follows:

1) Use your tools! Zues and DNA scanners are both very valuable and (if used correctly) can have a huge impact on the outcome of the game.

2) Know that you are going to be a target for the Traitors. Watch your back, careful who you trust. One idea would be to stay in open space, chances are all eyes will be on you (innocents trust you, traitors want you dead. The blue 'D' also draws attention), so if you do get knocked off, the traitors demise shouldn't be too far away.

3) USE YOUR MIC! If you taze anyone, if you find ANY information relating to who could be a T, then LET THE INNOCENTS KNOW! Remember your job - identify traitors and assist innocents.

4) DO NOT HIDE. A detective hiding in a room alone is NOT doing their job whatsoever. Remember how traitors gotta trait? Well the same applies for detectives - they have to detect (traitors).

5) If you do NOT have a mic, USE CHAT.

6)If you are getting Detective every round and you don't want to be detective, re-join server and indicate you don't have a mic. Please note, this does NOT stop you from being detective completely, it merely lowers the chances. If everyone clicks no, someone will still have to be detective.

7) In relation to using your mic, just use for the right reason.

8) If you want to taze someone, say it on mic. Let EVERYONE know outcome, if they avoid it then it raises suspicion on that person. Note, it is not a KOS offence to refuse a taze. You cannot make someone stand still. You can call sus, but not KOS.

9) One tip you may wish to try is to use your zeus at the start of the round, among the commotion, players are generally trying to find the right weapon, may find an unsuspecting traitor unaware.

10) Again, I think this one needs repeating - LET EVERYONE KNOW RESULTS OF WHAT YOU FIND! A zeus in which the information stays hidden is a waste of a zeus!

Notable Information: when using a DNA scanner, let everyone know who you are IDing as DNA scan results are in chat available for EVERYONE to see, and the killer is always RED, not stating you IDed a traitor may get the innocent that killed him RDMed... Basically if you ID an INNOCENT or DETECTIVE, call KOS on the killer (unless you know it was an RDM, self defence or accident and the killer is proven innocent already)... if you ID a TRAITOR call out that they are proven INNOCENT.
