[Player Event] JasperSnail's Scoutknives Tournament!Hey guys,
As most of you saw, I was getting a general idea of how many people were interested in a Scoutknives tournament a little while ago.
I've gotten permission from the Rowdster and have talked to Ainslie about this too.
So, without further a due heres how this will be played.
Date: 14th September
Time: 9:30 PM Sydney Time
Week 1 Winner: Rogue
Second Place: Shadow Grit
Event game: Scoutknives Free for all.
Map: Probably Black Ops
How to play:
This is simply a Free for all mode of Scoutknives. Scoutknives as its game name suggests, is a game mode consisting of players only using Knives and Scouts.
The player with the most "points" at the end of 3 rounds wins.
Points can be earned in 1 of 2 ways.
1. Killing a player (1 kill) awards you 10 points.
2. Being the last man standing (No one on T team but yourself is alive) will award you 30 points.
When there is only 1 person standing, a respawn all will be performed, and all modifications turned back on for the next round.
Once all 3 rounds are complete, scores will be calculated and the winner can choose from 1 of 3 prizes.
Rules:
All players on the Terrorist side during the round of the event will be participating.
If you don't feel like playing, feel free to help me moderate from the CT's side.
There is only two permitted weapons, the Scout and the Knife. Anything else will result in immediate disqualification from the event (you will die, and you will not receive any points).
No player is to activate !lr or Last resort as this will disrupt the event. A player doing this will be slayed, and repeat offenders kicked / banned for the duration of the event.
All weapons including the bomb on the map will be cleared prior to the starting of the event.
Modifications:
Each player will be given roughly 200-300 hp.
Friendly fire will be enabled (obviously)
Each player will be spawned Scouts.
A 1.5x move speed and 0.5x gravity will be applied at all times. Please avoid using ladders as this will reset your Gravity.
Prizes:
1 of 3 Prizes: Winners choice.
1. A copy of Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Won by Rogue (Might be another copy next week)
2. A copy of Alan Wake
3. A copy of Portal 2
Note: The second week of this event, there will only be 2 of the 3 prizes remaining. Winner will select one of the remaining two.
