Hey all,

This is a thread for all the Nilla players to have your say about which maps you think need to be added or removed from the server custom map list.

To give some general feed back on maps whether it be some issues/glitches that need to be fixed or whether there is a newer version or variant of the map.

With all suggestions please try to use the following formats (ensure it is the correct one for your suggestions)

Clarification: variants of nilla maps are not considered for map additions!

Office is an original map, it was only removed as it seemed to be causing server issues.

We are currently by process of elimination working to find out the cause of the server crashing, so please to all be patient while this is ongoing.

Not a one sided map and has multiple ways to enter bomb sites

A small map like ice world / blood assault / poolday / would be good for when people are trying to get the server populated when its under 5 players.
I have plenty of ideas for new maps, the server could do with a total refresh map wise, not sure how long the current rotation has been running.

Cheers for your suggestions snapperfisho, we'll check your map out.

As we've found out in the past, large map updates are not overly welcomed by the player base, so removing/adding maps 4-5 at a time a few times a year seems to work best.

As the average time played by people usually amounts to 5-6 maps, they generally wish to play their favourite"s or known maps, so new additions are kept to a few to give them a chance of being played regularly if they are decent maps.

Map Feedback

Map Name: cs_militia

Opinion of Map: It is a terrible map when its played with more than 10 players.

Any issues/glitches on Map: I know this doesn't occur to often (only really seen when the server is full AND if Militia gets voted), but T spawns seem to glitch out from time to time, where two players spawn in the same spot causing both players to get stuck. Yesterday it happened quite a lot to KFC_Zinger and another player. Usually Spamming the Slap command sometimes work, but in this case, didn't work at all. This results in Team-Killing one player for the other player to get out.

Like I said, it isn't really a HUGE issue and only really happens when the server is Full and when Militia is on, but it does suck when it happens to you and you have to end up sitting out of a round because of it.

Hi, could there also be organised a local maps dump where users can d/l all the server maps not via the server ?

Sorry Milko,

it used to be possible to see the maps and D/L them on the fast dl server, but unfortunately, access has now been blocked by streamline in order to cut down on security exploits.

Unfortunately, de_rimini has a roof glitch that allows players to see through walls. Hence, map removed.
