    Headphone recommendations

    Hi Guys,

Currently using the Siberia V2 frost blue for over 2 years and losing audio in on ear every now and then so am looking at buying a new pair, budget around $150

Any recommendations on a decent pair would be greatly appreciated? been looking at the G930 wireless headset that you can get for $150 from Msy with a 3 year warranty.

    Thanks,

    Cheers

    Del

If I were you, I wouldn't bother with Gaming Headsets, they don't have that greater sound and the mic is an abomination. Better off getting some headphones + desktop mic / mod mic.

From a few reviews I watched, there isn't too much difference between the M20X to M50X (highest model).

    Headphones

    Mod Mic

    Cheaper Desktop Mic

A few friends and I are using M50X's with the Ant Lion Mod Mic. Little pricey but well worth it... Anything more and we'd probably have to get some kind of sound card.

I currently own a Plantronics RIG Gaming Headset.
I got it earlier this year and has been great so far.
    Surround sound, EQ modifier.
However, the microphone is only useful during games and stuff. I find it wasn't very good when using it on websites (found out by using it on Omegle to mess around and further investigated). But I don't use the mic anyway seeming I now use my AudioTechnica AT2020 studio mic.
$130 at JB Hi-Fi and could probably find it even cheaper somewhere else.

Go with one of these suggestions above or what I do. Go and open like 5 popular streams of games you like to play and see what headphones the streamer is using. Normally in description below. They are almost always great headphones.

If they've lasted you over 2 years, you're on a good thing, I'd stick with what works imo, just get another set of the same? You already know how comfortable they are and everything, so why go through the hassle of getting used to a new set? =P
