    ba_apocalyptic Sneak Peak..

    Hi all,

    I have been working on a big new project with the dev team, which is almost completed. The map is a new jail break map that will be exclusively released onto our server for the foreseeable future, meaning no other server will have access to it.

    The map is currently in alpha and will be placed into beta once some closed testing is completed. Expect to see this map shortly.

    The map will feature a few notable games like:
    Zombie Rush
    Hide N Seek (prop hunt)
    Hang man
    Freefall knifing
    2 obstacles
    Shooting gallery
    Trivia
    Many more...

    Update: Map has finally been placed into beta (after 100+ hours of mapping lol).

    We will be testing to make sure there is no bugs with the locking components of the map, and once that is confirmed, we will be releasing it.

    Stay tuned for info on the map release event.

    The hangman game was introduced as a creative play style game. An example is to play the game in the traditional method where the number of letters are known and when a letter is correct, the CT advises what place the letters are found (ie second letter, 5th letter etc). It can also be used for other things as well like trivia and whatever else the creative minds on this community can come up with

    Another note, some of the corridors have aged terribly and may collapse when walked over, and there have been zombie sightings around the map that you will need to look out for
    the whole place is a zombie wasteland, its crawling with them. (i particularly love stumpy). if the map wasnt so full already as it was i wish u could add a scripted zombie survival mode to happen. sorta like the war day on an old summer map we had

    Hi all.

    I am currently making some adjustment to the map so if you have any suggestions or things you would like to see changed/fixed please let me know.

    So far i have changed (since beta5):
    - Changed FFknife button to CT only.
    - Added water to FFknife exit so Ts don't die straight away.
    - Upped damage of fire pits in 4 squares.
    - Changed main cell pit ele button to CT only and remove shootability.
    - Added a shootable button to main cell pit ele on the ceiling above it.
    - Changed the vent health from 250 to 400 with the chance of it being 600 hp
    - Changed the chance of getting a gun in cells from 50% to 33%.
    - Added an invisible wall to keep Ts inside knock knock when they open the door.
    - Fixed the glitches on furniture game where ele gets stuck on props and players.
    - Added some playerclip around the banner in main cell pit to stop players from getting caught on it. Made the movelinear kill players attempting to block it.

    will just have to wait and see if they work, when or has the map been added to the rotation yet oh btw some of the doors get texture glitched when something is stuck under them(the door opens but ur stuck with missing texture).

    That would be for a door with a nodraw texture on it. If you see that you arent supposed to be there.

    this is what i was talking about earlyer stand under the door and it stuffs up the texture.
    aswell you might want to add a texture for under the center cell lift thing you cant tell if its up or down when ur hiding in the vents when cts raise it.

    I see what ya mean. Thats the area portal closing when the door doesnt lol.

    Ill just make the door force close and kill any1 under it.

    As for the ele, i have textured the bottom already in new release.

    Edit: have made all doors with areaportals force close for next release.
