Map Administration Plugin

After going through the process of creating a list of maps on #7 Surf, it came to my attention that a useful plugin could be created.

Features:

Taking from the Maplist of the server the command issued "!listmaps" would list off the maps of the server into the console, for the purpose of being copied into lists. This would allow the maplists on the forum pages to be updated on a more frequent rate, and also allowing a player to see the maps that are available to play when they enter the server before having to nominate.

Is this possible? Does this already exist?

Since DTK run source mod; not sure who scripts for it. Will most likely have to get the JA or SA of surf to request this with Squall.

I had a talk to Arathus last night about this. Although it would be possible without a doubt, chances are it wouldn't be really worth doing. The UMC map list is stored in a bit of a strange way that would probably take more effort than its worth to list. Maybe i'm just not thinking of the proper way to do it, but I don't think it would be too useful for time taken (especially since nominate holds almost all maps anyway).

If you are keen on getting the idea implemented, I don't imagine it would be difficult through SM (because it isn't through ES) but you would need to get a JA or SA to approve it before it was even looked at by us/Squall.

On the DtK servers that run the UMC plugin to handle the maps, sm_umc_displaymaplists can be used to display the current maps on the rotation [it is broken down to nominate list, end of map vote list, rtv list]. This command is restricted to admins ATM however it can be modified so any player can use it.
