    Need ideas for a new Rush Map

    Hi All.

    I am looking to kill some time by creating another Rush map (for those who dont know what that is, go here: http://css.gamebanana.com/maps/172478).

    The only idea I can come up with is underground bases so I need some help with something more fresh

    Here is how it needs to work:
    • Optimizable - being able to create vis leafs so only certain sections of the map are rendered, so no Square shaped maps.
    • Possible - Something that can be made using as minimal custom textures/models as possible. The file size is large enough as is.
    • A back story - I always like to map to a good back story telling me what the map is about. An example of this is the MVP maps on the showcase section.
    I was thinking something like a city based map as it could easily use streets as progression but I would love to get some more ideas before I commit to the project.

    Any help is appreciated.

    OMG yes new guy plz make some like karkland style or end game they are some good maps but i would like to see some good sniper spots like up on mountains and stuff but also good back door parts like breakable walls like fences on bf3

    Remember that this is css lolz. The load on the graphics card would be tremendouse if i did a bf style map.

    hah yeah but the last map was good but at the start if it had some like back door part like i said breakable wood when shot

    AHh I see what you mean. Just have a few planks of wood or a breakable door to enter into a room.

    I am thinking I will do a street map that leads into a shopping centre. It will be easy to optimize, I have a lot of the prefabs already made from years of Hide N Seek development (lol) and I can detail the maps a lot easier.

    Processor* as CSS is a processor intensive game. It would also be very low frame rates unless optimized really well. Even then..

    I haven't seen any server play any rush maps, nor could I find a rush server :S

    Ive uploaded the map to Gamebanana, but that is the extent of it. TBH there would be no servers online as there is only 1 rush map.

    My goal is to get around 5 up and running to encourage rotations. 5 Would be a lot considering the time a game takes.

    Will even open up a small 20 slot server if I can be ♥♥♥♥ed.
