Suggestions for DD2 DM sever

As the title say's, "Suggestion's for the DD2 DM server". These can be for the day to day gaming on the server, or ideas for events.
All genuine suggestions are most welcome. Not every idea will be tried or trialed, but I'm sure there will be some good idea's put forward.

After playing CTs yesterday and got toasted by the experienced group of Ts, suddenly there was a box asking for random spawn. So i thought wouldn't it be nice if the admin can change it to this after CTs got spawned trap for the whole round.. Just a suggestion.

Besides, is there any possibility that there can be 3 teams in a game... where teams A can attack B & C or gang up with B to attack C etc...
Spawn points can be bombsite A & B & T's spawn...

Just wanna say sth before i forget about it.. XD

Admin can put votes up to change things on the server like random spawns, knife + nade only and also changing the map to other variations of Dust2 like Dust2 Indoors, Dust2 Pro and Dust2 unlimited. I personally don't like changing the server too much if the server is full as it might cause the server to lose numbers either because a player or players may not like random spawns or knife + nade only or have trouble downloading the new maps that the server is being changed to.

Once the round ends on either random spawn or has been changed to a different Dust2 map then it reverts back to the original Dust2 Dm map so an admin has to keep voting to change it from normal Dust2 Dm. As far as 3 teams go I highly doubt that is possible, I don't think I've ever seen anything like that on a CSS server before.

Event Idea for Dust2
Extend the kill limit to 500 kills
First to 500 kills gets a prize
Knife kills count as 3 kills
Nade kills count as 2 kills
You may want to increase the map time

Dust2 Pistols Only Challenge
-Pistols only
-2 throwing knives per life
-nades allowed

Thanks Jagermeister, great suggestion. We have previously trialled on D2 before, and it caused server lag unfortunately. We could not resolve despite every effort so will not reinstall this feature.

1. Give players grenades for every 4 kill-streak they make if they've used their grenade already.
2. This one's a bit out there, but it would be cool to add a 2nd golden gun that can be taken by anyone and everyone from the golden menu, but not have any damage added to it(so you can shoot all you want with it but it won't kill anyone). Just the jump effect. Maybe only bring it out on events?

I'm down for that, since I'm... proficient... with the GG, but it's really gonna hurt those who can't aim too well.

I believe there have been issues using throwing knives on DD2 DM before, which is why they aren't enabled. At least that was the response last time I asked.

Could be worth another shot though?

Change the server to simply a "Dust Deathmatch" server, where we rotate between dust, dust2, pro, indoors, ultimate etc. I suspect people are just getting sick of playing the exact same map over and over, as much as we all love it, it does tend to get a bit repetitive....
