How come opinions change so rapidly, when makeyoubleed posted it everybody shot it down

I'm actually consistent so I'm going to say no it should not be added, why? simple, its too similar to zombies to justify a whole new server

It's less like zombies then people think, where you start from a and run to b and try to be faster then the zombies.
In MVP you have to use stealth and teamwork to survive and hunt rather then just rushing head first and hoping they reload before you die.
The maps are entirely different styled, and when the old servers used to run it would always be full and you would have to wait for a spot just to get in.

Hope we can play it on the server rotation.

I hate to bust the bubble but DtK tend not to use mods in ES. There is I believe a sourcemod version floating around.
This mod has been proposed before a few times and been rejected, so its chances aren't huge.
LET'S POPULATE THE SERVERS WE HAVE BEFORE ASKING FOR NEW ONES.
If you wish to propose it for the server rotation, please suggest it in the appropriate thread.

I am thinking about getting my own mvp server online. Doesn't need to be a massive 32 slot monster and it would be easier for me to manage it in eventscripts if I host it myself.

Would it be possible to put this under DTK's banner (excluding global banning of course).

I can personally vouch for the popularity of the MvP mod having played it alot quite a few years ago...... preds got shoulder cannons and all it is very fast and fun..... also that map was horrid mvp suits foresty type maps dark and wet with lots of obsticals (fallen trees etc)

This mod and the vip mod (vip used to be standard in cs1.4) are by far my fav games.

Yeah vip was quite fun as well. The mod ive always played (was made by Hazor) was almost invisible predators on foresty or residential areas with regen hp at 600. Had to use stealth and cunning to destroy their opponents.

OK just an update on this.

I have finished updating my version of the mod.

I will post the updated version on eventscripts later on.

For now, I have uploaded it to a new 20 slot server and will be posting the ip for it in a new thread tomorrow for you all.

This will be a dedicated MVP server, one of few (if not the only 1) in aus (yay).

server restricts 2 players as predators and rest cts.

Hey newguy, perhaps restricting the ratio of predators to 1:5 ??
1:10 , what if people hog it ? :\
Would be more fun if the ratio involved more players
